Dear friends the Medical-Reunion VII Committee Members ,
After a long absence that I have not contacted all the committee members ( except with a few members ), I am indeed concerned that you all should think of being neglected by me in a long time …but believe me that I have not forgotten you all and your great commitments to the Reunion VII …some were saying it is still a long time to go but I believe that time is running fast and before we know we will be in April 2015 and we still need to do some very important things in the time line of these months ahead …
FEEL FREE to tell me anything what you have in mind whether it would be right or wrong …ALL of you hopefully will take part in this!!
For the time being I would start with my report ( I hope you all will do the same if you happen to know something please be actively involved …i am inviting you all ! ) THANKS!
+ the total participants now are 86 ( already paid the registration fee and calling registering to Selly Liem . Then there will be about 4 thinking seriously of participating and then the remaining committee members & families , there will be more registrants from Indonesia this time only a matter of time to register as the folders were just sent to them ,also more from other Forum members who are still thinking because there is still time to go until Feb.20 2015…We need to recruite these people , remind them over and over again …We are indeed optimistic that there will be more participants and time is counting still …
+ These months we have been busy ” conference calls” lots of emails and phone calls setting up policy and schedule and rules with the Treasurer, the Coordinator of Program Activities , the Secretary and with Selly Liem , the BKK and the banner already OK and well . Sorry that I have not yet contact with the other committee members again…
+ Hereby I want to invite you all to play a part and be actively involved in setting up the jobs of your own ( like a job description ) how you want it to be to the best of your knowledge….
This is my report to you:
1) Petrus Tjahjadi is doing a great job of e- mails, internet communications and managing the Reunion VII Blog etc …
2) Transportation, att 1) Sie Ing Liong and 2) Anthony Kurniawan, I hope we can come together later to talk it over in detail . I am waiting for your response and really want to know HOW you want to do the transportation working together with Selly Liem esp on April 24 and April 25, I think
those are the only two transportation days that you will be doing…
3) The BKK is already OK and all participants have to submit their passphotos and personal data starting in August or September 2014.
4) The banner is done through the very kindness and help of Lian Sidharta herself.
5) We need to buy and order the bags and gifts together with the BKK put in one bag and most important to order the name tags as ID ‘s for the participants to be worn at all times. This ID is a pass to attend all activities of M-Reunion VII for safety and security reasons.
6) We already order the LEI for the Welcome Party, with the help of Emilia Liem.
7) the Aula / Hall and the Menu for the Welcome Dinner and all the specifications for the Welcome Party is OK and well arranged for ….a minimum order of 75 persons eating dinner at the Welcome Party is needed to get the Buffet Menu ( the complete Menu for the Buffet Dinner has been chosen.
8) All other things will be reported and informed periodically.
If there is something still forgotten please feel free to remind us and please give your ideas and suggestions all for the sake of success for our Reunion VII
