From Chair Lady to the Medical-Reunion VII Committee Members,

Dear friends the Medical-Reunion VII Committee Members ,

After a long absence that I have not contacted all the committee members ( except with a few members ), I am indeed concerned that you all should think of being neglected by me in a long time …but believe me that I have not forgotten you all and your great commitments to the Reunion VII …some were saying it is still a long time to go but I believe that time is running fast and before we know we will be in April 2015 and we still need to do some very important things in the time line of these months ahead …

I have been thinking that I really need to start to keep the e.mails going on again between me and all the committee members!   From now on I will try to give reports to let you know about things going on and let you all be actively involved , for sure you all will need to give your ideas and suggestions and to tell me what you think about things that would be right or things that would be wrong all for the sake and success of our Reunion VII …

FEEL FREE to tell me anything what you have in mind whether it would be right or wrong …ALL of you hopefully will take part in this!!

For the time being I would start with my report ( I hope you all will do the same if you happen to know something please be actively involved …i am inviting you all ! ) THANKS!

+ the total participants now are 86 ( already paid the registration  fee and calling registering to Selly Liem . Then there will be about 4 thinking seriously of participating and then the remaining committee members & families , there will be more registrants from Indonesia this time only a matter of time to register as the folders were just sent to them ,also more from other Forum members who are still thinking because there is still  time to go until Feb.20 2015…We need to recruite these people , remind them over and over  again …We are indeed optimistic that there will be more participants and  time is counting still …

 + These months we have been busy ” conference  calls” lots of emails and phone calls setting up policy and  schedule and rules with the Treasurer, the Coordinator of Program  Activities , the Secretary and with Selly Liem , the BKK and the  banner already OK and well . Sorry that I have not yet contact with the other committee members again…

+ Hereby I want to invite you all to play a part and be actively involved in setting up the jobs of your own ( like a job description ) how you want it to be to the best of your knowledge….

This is my report to you:

1) Petrus Tjahjadi is doing a great job  of e- mails, internet communications and managing the Reunion VII Blog etc …
2) Transportation, att 1) Sie Ing Liong and 2) Anthony Kurniawan, I hope we can come together later to talk it over in detail . I am waiting for your response and really want to know HOW you want to do the transportation working together with Selly Liem esp on April 24 and April 25, I think
those are the only two transportation days that you will be doing…
3) The BKK is already OK and all participants have to submit  their passphotos and personal data starting in August or September  2014.
4) The banner is done through the very kindness and help of Lian Sidharta herself.
5)  We need  to buy and order the bags and gifts  together with the BKK put in one bag and most important to order the name tags as ID ‘s for the participants to be worn at all times. This ID is a pass to attend all activities of M-Reunion VII for safety and security reasons.
6) We already order the LEI for the Welcome Party, with the help of Emilia Liem.
7) the Aula / Hall and the Menu for the Welcome Dinner and all the specifications  for the Welcome Party is OK and well arranged for ….a minimum order of 75 persons eating dinner at the Welcome Party is needed to get the Buffet Menu ( the complete Menu for the Buffet Dinner has been chosen.
8) All other things will be reported and informed periodically.

If there is something still forgotten please feel free to remind us and please give your ideas and suggestions all for the sake of success for our Reunion VII

Hello SH as Coordinator for Indonesia
Hello SB, HG, TG, Nate, WP, other UNAIR / FKUNAIR graduates …
.
In these two weeks I have got 4-5 e-mails from our collega’s UNAIR/ FKUNAIR Alumni ( I think they got my e-mail address from one another ) asking updating about our Medical Reunion VII …Goei Bian Hien, Ting Giok Gwan, Lody Widjaya, Nyotohusodho, etc …( I have noted already)
.
Rudy Hendrawidjaya ( Goei Bian Hien ) specifically told me that there seemed to be much more attention to our Reunion VII … perodically he has been asking me about the progress and planning of our reunion. You know quite well that it is my extra wish to let more friends from Indonesia  joining us this time! Hereby I am asking you all to be more accomodative,  broadcasting or whatever, to lNVITE family and friends joining us … I am kind of optimistic and hopefully there would be more or much more prospective participants this time!
I hope SH would give more thoughts about this, NOT only from UNAIR but also UI, ITB, USU, UGM, Trisakti, Atmajaya and other universities as well! (i.e.other universities not yet mentioned here).
This e-mail from me happened to be about UNAIR because these are my ex classmates and friends from FKUNAIR who have sent their e-mails to my personal e-mail address.  Everyone is WELCOME !
